The Heart of the Matter

When we speak of the heart we mean both the physical organ and the heart chakra, which is very responsive to energy. It receives energetically from others and from events that occur around us.

The heart chakra is the middle of a complex system which is responsible for both gross and fine energies and is responsive to both physical and emotional events. Being the primary integrator of the entire system, it can sometimes lose energy to any stressful situation or it can gain energy from love, relationships, beauty, and sensitivity to spirit.

Learning how this system works and how our heart views love and relationships can help us all live longer, more fulfilling, and worthwhile lives.

Schedule Nov 3-8, 2013
Class begins on Sunday with Welcome Luau dinner at 5:30 PM, followed by the first lecture at 7:30 PM.

The schedule Monday thru Thursday is:
  • 10am-12:30pm: Morning Class
  • 12:30-1:30pm: Lunch
  • 1:30pm-3:30pm: Afternoon Class
  • 7pm-9pm: Evening Class
The final class ends Friday, Nov 8th at 12:30 PM. Lunch will be served from 12:30-1:30 PM for those who can stay. Breakfast and dinners are on your own and not included in tuition price.

Getting There King Kamehameha Hotel is 8.6 mile(s) SE from Kona International Airport (on the Big Island of Hawaii). Driving Directions

While it is not necessary to have a car during the workshop, you may want to share a rental car with others. There are airport shuttles and taxis to get to and from the hotel/airport. Conference negotiated parking rate is $5/day.
Tuition & Payment

Registration fee is $975 Workshop fee covers tuition, welcome luau, and all lunches Monday-Friday. Kama’aina Rate (Hawaii residents only) is $50 off. Credit card will not be charged nor checks cashed until the start of the workshop.

CEU Credits

Nurses Provider approved by the California Board of Registered Nursing for 30 contact hours. CEU Credit Certificate provided. Application fee is $20. (Requires separate payment made out to HLCC. Please submit with CEU application at the end of the intensive.

Certificates of Completion

Certificates of Completion are available to all students. Application fee & process is the same as for CEU Certificates above.
